Just a minute while I cry about how I apparently forgot how to spell yellow on level 10 and then laugh about the inclusion of "yell ow" in level 25... This is an interesting game. I quite like the slick art style and the jazzy music. Your games have definitely been more sophisticated rather than charming in these later entries, which is not to say that I like either "era" of bontegames better than the other. Nothing was too easy or too hard to figure out. Great job!

A rather sweet game. The birds remind me of origami because of the way they're drawn. I didn't know you had a blog! I'm going to go check it out now.

I quite like the premise of the game. It's like Snake, although it's got interesting twists to it. The 8-bit sounds were a bit annoying to me when I initially started playing, but eventually I got used to them. Good color scheme, makes it easy to tell where everything is.

Quite love this. It's about as much of an acid trip as actual dreams, haha. I love the funny ending with the worm. Nice minimalist art style as always. The music is cool too. Do you make your own music or get it somewhere?

As many have said, this reminds me of 2048, except with the clever addition of the red blocks. I'm curious to know what the thought process was behind the decision of how frequently to add new blocks and when to add new red blocks, as it seems pretty balanced. Nice color scheme, grabs attention but doesn't assault the eyeballs.

I'm not someone who can play the same game for a long time in one sitting, even though I had "Just Keep Going On" playing in the background, so I quit on level 15. Nevertheless, even from what little I saw, this is a very inventive and creative minimalist game, and I bet the people who enjoy this type of marathon gaming challenge absolutely love it.

Edit 2023: I now realize this is based on the troll app "Curiosity".

This reminds me of 40xEscape, as it has a similar concept and contains a few of the same basic puzzles. However, it's definitely a fresh take, with cleaner, more sophisticated graphics and new twists on the old puzzles. Another delightful little game, as always.

This is actually a pretty decent game! Reminds me of something I'd find on Coolmath - it's kind of classic that way. I have a couple things, however. One, the intro cutscene was kind of cliche for me, I don't know, having played a lot of Coolmath in years past might have just made me very jaded towards the whole "rescue the girlfriend" thing. I rather like the aesthetic of it - dynamitewhale might have a good point there with regards to making things colorful, but otherwise it's really nice and a little spooky. Nice touch with the eyes in the walls and the strange water colors. The physics of switching gravity would be cool in a lot of other situations, but it definitely does make predicting and controlling my movement harder. Also hard to figure out how fast I can run one way or the other when there's hazards everywhere that stop me from being able to test that. That's how I managed to get stuck - I found it very hard to predict when I should be pressing the left or right arrow key after I hit Z in order to avoid the spikes, and eventually it got to the point where the combination of that and the arrangement of spikes was just too much to navigate.

Edit: I got stuck somewhere in the first section. I remember that I had to go across the entire level from right to left, dodging some gravity-obeying spikes that rose and fell at the same time as I did (as opposed to them obeying gravity in the opposite direction as me). One of them fell at a different time than the others because there was a recessed area in the ceiling. Hopefully that helps.

which level did you get stuck in?

This is a very interesting game. I really like the whole concept, as well as the minimalist aesthetic and the controls. I only really have one medium-sized complaint: I would like it so that there is an undo button and you don't have to restart the entire game after you die. Since you want it to be unforgiving, I think it'd be best to put the second bit in a separate "casual difficulty", but I don't see why making a mistake should be so debilitating. I also only recently recognized that your health doesn't regenerate between levels, so maybe some kind of indicator would be useful. Luckily, both of those can be fixed easily. Easy to learn but hard to master, or am I just bad at strategy? Looking forward to seeing more development.

UPDATE: I've died enough times that I am giving up on playing this game. Getting chances to try again isn't worth the number of deaths and amount of lost progress involved, at least not for me. I'm glad you've found your target audience, but I hope you'll consider what I've said.

I love this little game so much. It's cute, silly, challenging and interesting, and it leaves me wanting to play again because I want to know what the power-ups I didn't grab were. I love the adorable player character, the art style, the humor, and the music. I don't know if there's anything I don't love about it. Nice game!
