Hey, this is pretty interesting for the first piece of your art that I've ever clicked on. Only thing I can say for criticism is I'm confused about what she's sitting on, I think it's a wall but it seems like her legs are in front of it instead of on top of it. Otherwise, this is a nice piece of artwork. Realistic clothing, proportions, etc is something I've been trying to work on, so that's part of what caught my eye first. Interesting contrast between the dark red palette of the character and the blue and magenta... smoothie thing. That drew my eye to the smoothie thing and that's what made my brain register completely that this is definitely in an urban fantasy type world. The shading is very well done as well, it looks like a lot of attention was paid to the different ways that light reflects off of different things. Overall, this art makes me want to know more about the character in it. Looking forward to seeing more!

GhoulKitten responds:

Well, welcome to my stuff! I hope you like some of it lol.

I'm confused on what she's sitting on too, lmaooo. Thanks for the review, look forward to more. :)

I get that about Mermay. I tried Inktober once and got way too busy to do it. I rather like this piece of art, it makes me want to know a bit more about this character. Hence, I shall check out Coolkitten13's stuff now. I'll probably refine my review when I'm less brain-dead so that there's actual constructive criticism in here like I normally do.

DatCakeIzEhPai responds:

Thank you so much for that. Happy that you could check her out. I was under quite some pressure with exam and final so I really couldn't do mermay daily, only a couple.

Ey, that's pretty cool! I really like the new design. I don't know why, it kinda reminds me of the general art and design style of "Crypt of the NecroDancer", have you heard of that game? I also love Blaise's backstory and characterization, she seems like someone I'd love to read a story about, and I like the inclusion of a plot hook and potential for character development. Only two things I have to criticize. One, her boobs don't appear to be affected by physics. They seem to stick out to the side a little too much. I could be wrong, though, I might just not have enough experience drawing boobs. (Snrk.) Two, I see what you did there so that it looks like her legs are made of a split tail, but the result is that those feet look too tiny to stand on. Those are just a couple minor fixes, though. Overall, this is great art and a great character.

DatCakeIzEhPai responds:

I have heard of the game but never played it. It wasn't really the main inspiration but now you said it, maybe I should apply some. Glad that you like her. The story is going the right direction but I still need to work on some details connecting the dots with other characters in my series. Yes, her boobs unfortunately kinda off as her right is kinda slopped down abit than the left (still getting used to with new art-style). As for feet, I'm making some adjustment on her next artwork, along with other characters as well. I can't tell you when I can debut them but it would be by weekly once I'm done with every character. Thank you!

Oh dear. Is it hot in here? Uh. Once again, this art is very cleanly done. The design is a kind of interesting new take on seductress outfit tropes. If you could give the picture more of a background, that might be nice, considering my eyes took a little while to figure out the swing. Overall, this is a nice piece of art, and it looks like you're capable of turning out a lot of these very finished-looking pieces with a touch of uniqueness in them. Consider yourself followed.

DatCakeIzEhPai responds:

I would love to add some bg behind but due to my lack of background expertise and time factor in it, I could only allow myself to finish this in 3 hours top before homework. I'll take note on my next one. And wow, thank you so so so much for your time comment and the follow :D

I love the designs, the colors, etc. They're all very unique and give a good hint at the personality of each character. The thing is, though, some of these seem like they'd be a bit of a bother to animate, due to all the detail. But if you were willing to put forth the effort, I'd love to see animations of these!

DatCakeIzEhPai responds:

You would probably right but it is not impossible. I was just imagining what it would be had I worked at an animation studio so I have to made this animation sheet just for practice.

I absolutely love the design, the colors, the style, all of it. It's both unique and cohesive. The shading, line work, etc. looks very clean and professional. And it also looks vaguely like traditional Japanese art, which is cool.

DatCakeIzEhPai responds:

Thank you so much! I honestly didn't have much Japanese reference in it tho from the beginning but now you said it, I ought to look into its history for more inspiration. Appreciate your time!

Awww! It's so pretty! The bright colors, cute style, and the painting-like background go very well with the setting and general feel. I love the hair. It's not too detailed, but the detail that there is really makes it stand out. Also love the back lighting. Overall a very nice artwork.

lavourse responds:

ahhh thank you! ;v; Im glad you like my doodle-
i appreciate your lovely comment very much~

Aww! That's such a cute little 3D object/gif thing! Wish it was bigger so I didn't have to strain my eyes to pick up the details, but I love it!

devilsgarage responds:

ah thanks :D
These file sizes get bigger and bigger
here's something, but it does not really help much with the quality

Hi! Thanks for following me! Since I don't have enough to say to warrant a private message, I decided to check out your art and thank you in my review. This looks really cool, very good vector art. Looks like it'll have something to do with gardening and beekeeping, am I correct? I'm excited to know more about this.

BlueCrystalStudio responds:

Yes, exactly. You plant seeds and grow them into Flowers wich you sell with profit. They also produce honey that you can sell or use to upgrade the beehive. For all those money from profits you build and decorate your home, wich % increase EXP you gain, increase % of your production, etc..

I really love the way this is done! It reminds me of something, but I don't know what. I'll have to think on that. Either something sci-fi dystopia or outfits worn by an 80s band. I'd love to see more art in this style.

Vedanta responds:

I am planning to continue this style :)
